There’s Still Time to Support NAMIWalks!
On Sunday, October 1, 2017, thousands of supporters packed the Waterfront in Homestead for the 11th annual NAMIWalks. We had beautiful weather and a great turnout. WTAE-TV News Anchor Michelle Wright emceed the event that included face painting, balloon and caricature artists, and a raffle drawing.
“We had one of our most successful Walks ever,” said Sara Levine Steinberg, NAMIWalks Manager. “We had 37 sponsors, which is our largest number to date and there were a lot of new faces, which is always a great sign.”
And there’s still time to support the Walk. We have until the end of the month to meet our fundraising goal of $175,000. So CLICK HERE to make a donation. Remember, if you raise $350 you earn a NAMIWalks knit snow hat, and if you raise $1,000 you earn a NAMIWalks fleece!
