Your words have the power to inspire others to envision the hope and recovery that is possible for individuals living with a mental health diagnosis. We invite you to Tell Your Own Recovery Story and share with the NAMI community.
In honor of Mental Illness Awareness Week, NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania presents the Seven Days for Mental Health Social Media Challenge! Every day from October 1-7, we’ll post an interactive, mental health themed challenge on our social media accounts. Your job is to respond to the daily challenges and help us spread the word about mental health awareness!
Be sure to include the hashtag #7days4MH on each post. We will share our favorite posts on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.
As an extra bonus, participants will be entered into a raffle to win NAMI swag! Winners will be announced the Monday after the challenge.

Sunday, October 1st (Day 1) – NAMIWalks Southwestern PA
Take a picture at the Walk, or show us how you’re supporting the Walk at home.
Monday, October 2nd (Day 2) – Mental Wellness Monday Motivation
Share your favorite mental health quote, poem, or song lyric and explain why it’s important to you.
Tuesday, October 3rd (Day 3) – Creative Coping
Show us your creative / expressive coping mechanisms, whether it be through art, writing, dance, yoga, etc.
Wednesday, October 4th (Day 4) – Wear and Share
Wear green to support mental illness awareness and share a fact about mental illness.
Thursday, October 5th (Day 5) – Support Selfie for National Depression Screening Day
Take a selfie with your support system – whether it be family members, friends, colleagues, or even pets!
Friday, October 6th (Day 6) – Memes for Mental Health
Share your favorite mental health themed meme.
Saturday, October 7th (Day 7) – Self-Care Saturday
Show us how you better yourself through self-care!
