Nearly 2,000 people gathered at the SouthSide Works on Sunday morning, Oct. 5, for the 2nd Annual NAMI Walks for the Mind of America. Together with Honorary Chair Michelle Wright, news anchor of WTAE-TV, and more than a hundred sponsors, food donors and volunteers, our team of walkers let its collective voice be heard!
Cars stopped in the streets, as drivers asked what the event was all about. WTAE-TV news covered the walk, airing footage to over 350,000 households in our region. In the end, the walkers and sponsors raised nearly $120,000 for NAMI Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Thanks for your support!
