NAMI Southwestern Pennsylvania is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness through recovery focused support, education and advocacy.
Mental Health First Aid is a 8 hour public education program which is introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Family Education Courses
beginning in March
Learn more about NAMI's Family-to-Family Education program. It has been described by many as "life-changing". The Family-to-Family Education program has also been included in SAMHSHA's National Registry of Evidence-based Program and Practices. Registration for classes is neccessary.
