NAMI Signature Education Programs

When a person of any age is diagnosed with a serious emotional disorder of mental illness, the most effective response is to seek education. Education can empower individuals, their families and caregivers to move from a common initial reaction of confusion and despair to one of understanding, insight, hope and action. Learning about the illnesses and the systems that serve and support individuals living with mental illness are the keys to recovery.
