Allegheny County has established a comprehensive Telephone Crisis Intervention Service for individuals in crisis situations. The hotline provides round-the-clock counseling, emergency care, and referrals by professional mental health and addictions counselors. Callers can receive immediate crisis counseling and/or be referred to a behavioral health provider. A mobile crisis team can be dispatched when appropriate.
